Come to Family Culture Night at the Danish Architecture Center, where we invite families to a wide range of nature-inspired activities for the youngest visitors. Join a sensory, child-friendly guided tour of the Age of Nature exhibition, build a clay home for earthworms, or taste mushrooms. Outside on Bryghuspladsen, we’ll have fire pits where you can roast marshmallows!
Coral mushrooms, lion's mane– the world of fungi is rich and fascinating. And they can be grown right in the city and even at home in an apartment. Come test your culinary courage by tasting mushrooms and learning more about them together with the DAC café and Funga Farm. After the tasting, you can purchase a dinner featuring the same mushrooms!
Come join us as we build small, sustainable clay homes for earthworms. Inspired by the Age of Nature exhibition, we’ll shape houses that earthworms can live in once they’re buried in the ground or used as compost. Earthworms are superheroes of the soil – they make it soft and full of life, helping plants and animals!
Join a sensory and exploratory guided tour for children in the Age of Nature exhibition. Experience trees on artificial life support, mushrooms grown in towers, and facades that provide homes for birds and insects. Tours will be max 20 min.
With a UV flashlight in hand, you can search for questions and secret messages about nature throughout the Age of Nature exhibition. A cozy and fun activity for the whole family.
Come warm up around the fire. Is there anything better than gazing into the glowing embers of a campfire? Still, it’s something most of us don’t get to do very often. Bring the kids and roast a marshmallow over the embers before heading inside the Danish Architecture Center.
