The evening centers on Ole Rømer and his groundbreaking discovery of the speed of light. Throughout the tower, visitors can explore the instruments and celestial objects that led to his discovery, and in the Library Hall they can dive into a special exhibition about his life and work.
In the creative workshop, guests can design their own lanterns and carry them through the tower, lighting up its hidden details along the way. Physicist Jonathan Gammeltoft will presents his popular science show where light is explored through play and surprising experiments - read more below.
Visitors can aslo experience the exhibition Ad Lucem and the light installation While the Light Hesitates on the platform.
Please note that the Round Tower's viewing platform is not accessible to wheelchair users, but the Library Hall and the spiral passage are accessible.
